While sailing to Hong Kong for three days R&R,
Sioux encountered a typhoon in the China Sea.
The three days turned into three weeks for repairs.
Off Inchon, an old WWII mine defied
the marksmanship of the stokers armed with 303's
but sucummed to the blast of the bofors.
